That's like Bill Cosby in the standup routine "Himself"..
"What is it about drugs thats so appealing? And the guy says 'Well, it enhances your personality'... and I said 'Yea, but what if you're an asshole?" |

bingo. it enhances his assholeness. he has gotten to the point now, w/ his vices (now including mass drinking and gambling) that he WON'T even date, as he doesn't want anyone telling him his lifestyle is wrong. his mother is to blame, as well, as she's the enabler of the situation.

kind of reminds me of that artist from heroes. he'd shoot up (heroine I think it was?) then he'd paint all these drawings and they'd come to life later on. it was crazy. can't wait until heroes hit blu ray in a boxset like the way it was on hd dvd. oh and I accept your apology. moving on-->

I used to smoke and enjoyed it but now that I am older and have kids I can't find someone to get it from that I can trust to be low key. i.e. not droping by the house at 1:30 am asking for a bowl. lol
I would smoke now if I could find another person like me that has kids and has something to loose if they are not very low key and smart about it. I used to really enjoy siting down at night after everyone is in bed and smoke while listening to music or watching a movie. I think that booze is 100 times worse. It does make me lazy if I do too much. Wow its probably been 4 years since I have.....

I never smoked weed. Tried it during army service, almost made me puke, that was that. But I'm having serious trouble sleeping lately, maybe I should give it another try...
![]() Thank god I managed to give up cigarettes 6 years ago. The best decision I ever made.

I also gave up cigarettes just over 6 years ago. I am sooo happy that I did. Smoking indoors is illegal in Washington State except at the indian casino where they dont have to follow any laws or pay any taxes. It was hella smokey. When we got home we took off our clothes in the garage and took a shower on the spot washing everything we were wearing. We didnt want to get it on our furniture. Will never go back there.

My alternator went on my eclipse. This freaking blows. On another note I love smoking weed and do it daily. I don't drink, weed is how I unwind.

Starting to get pissed off at some of my lazy co workers who take naps when they are suppose to be working. Not a narc...but I feel that I am being taken advantage of because they know I wont tell. Hey...that felt pretty good. Thanks OP for posting this thread.

I was a daily smoker when I was in college but that has a been about 3 years since I've smoked. I really enjoyed it, as it didn't make me too lazy. It was one of those things where it helped me get through classes that were boring, or when I got home from the bars. It sure was a great remedy for having a hangover. But like I said earlier, I work for a big bank now that have mandatory drug tests every so often. And it's not a 3 strike your out program, it's if you get caught one time, you do not pass go, do not collect $200 on your way out the building.
I wouldn't have a problem with drug tests if it was for hard core drugs like coke or something. But a lot of people use weed responsibly, on the other hand a lot don't though. The first couple months were rough trying to go to sleep with out it, but I really don't miss it anymore. |

The only reason Marijuana isn't legal is because the government can't figure out how to control it. If the government can't make all the profit then they see no reason to legalize it.
IMHO Marijuana is far less dangerous than alcohal. Just my opinion though.

I smoked weed a few times when I was a teen. My friends and I even broke into this kids house that nobody liked in the neighborhood (he was a habitual liar and always started trouble) and smoked a bong while watching ON TV (anybody remember ON TV?? It was when cable was just being introduced). My friends and I also would smoke weed while walking the streets (we snuck out of our bedroom windows) and walk on top of peoples cars, knock on their doors at 2:00 a.m., throw fruit at their houses. I lived in a very boring, small, and deliquent town. We even called ourselves the ''River Hill Rats'' because you were either from River Hills (poor side of town) or Turpin Hills (rich side). Lot of fights between us and the Turpin Kidz (that is what they called themselves). To this day, my parents were completely clueless to my ''activities'' after school. My mother was a alcoholic and spent most of my childhood in AA, my dad escaped in work..whick we needed him to do. Had 3 boys to take care of. I finally woke up to the fact that I was going down a bad road and I needed to change myself and my choice in friends. Man...this feels good. Almost theraputic in a way.

Arkadin, Requiem for a Dream. Fear/Loathing doesn't condemn drug use, despite it's showing of several negative circumstances due to such. Requiem, by the time the credits roll, it's shown NO positives out of drug use, it shows how EVERYONE has suffered. Fear/Loathe didn't. Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo go about their merry, hopped up ways.
