I think people in the US are too easily offended.

This whole "sexual saturation" bullshit is our very own fault. Honestly, we're one of the few countries in the world that is completely ashamed of nudity - even casual nudity.

I'm not a nudist or anything, but doesn't anyone find that sort of ridiculous? We build up all this tension around sex and then think that everyone should just ignore it?

All this while in Europe, people go to a beach and there are 1000's of people completely unaware of the half naked people all around.

I think people are too prude in our country...

It just bothers me that our 7 year olds are learning to shake their asses for free shit.
I agree with you here. Dairy Queen is a place frequented by young kids. They should have shown more responsibility before releasing such a commercial. It's ok to say it's harmless until your child becomes a victim of sex crimes.

But I don't agree with you here. I'm pretty sure this is not the right way to handle it.

I thought about it for about 5 minutes. I still can't figure out a way that one would justify slapping a little girl and calling her a little whore.

You are absolutly correct. This statement was made out of anger. As her mother she should be raising her child to respect herself and others no to demine herself by batting her eyes to get what she wants.

I am really trying to make you all understand that I am not the person that gets into others business and complains about stupid things I just feel strongly about this one. Sexual interests and related problems are touching our kids more and more early in their lives and this is just a new low. We are not talking about a 14 y.o. tween who listens to Britney this girl is freaking 7 y.o. for the love of Pete. Stop for a moment and just say it outloud. 7 years old.

And for the record I think that truck nuts are funny as hell.

This commercial is a non story. It's absolutely harmless. I actually saw this commercial while I was watching TV and didn't think anything of it but that it was just another stupid commercial.
