Philly, you've got to be loving Utley. This is the last year I don't draft him first in fantasy baseball.

oh he's cool... i really love it that ryan howard has been a nice slugger... 2 run homer against the mets and a 2 run homer against the cardinals... pedro feliz isn't dooing too bad either and that taguchi (whatever his name is) guy works great as a base runner because that little korean guy can haul ass... the guy was walked and ran 3 bases to score on a regular line drive with no errors on the other team. some of our pitchers need some work, but hammels and moyer are sick as hell... hammels pitched a 1 hitter against the cubs on saturdday and moyer has a good finesse to his pitching, and did you know that moyer is one of the oldest players in the mlb? he's old enough to be my dad and i'm 23.

now my baseball fantasy would be jesse jane, carmen luvana, pamela anderson, kitty lee, and teegan presey playing baseball wearing nothing and using dildos as bats and after they hit the ball they stick it in thier areas... trust me utley would be one of the last people i'd ever pick for that fantasy baseball team

Jordan's Furniture is doing the "Sox win, you win" again this year, except the Sox have to sweep their opponent in the World Series.
So many people got their furniture free last year. One guy made the paper since he bought $40,000 worth of furniture. lol.

It's still April and I'm already sick of the Red Sox. I can't stand reg. season baseball but this borderline organized religion makes it so much worse.

I love baseball, but I can't stand the Sunday Night Game on ESPN. It looks great in hd of course, I just can't stand the dribble that comes out of Joe Morgan's mouth. The other guy is pretty good, I can't recall his name right now, but my Boston Terrier knows more about the game of baseball then Morgan. The guy is clearly a racist. He constantly sings the praises of the black players and shows them favortism. It is just so blatant it's scary really. If you don't believe me watch the broadcast sometime. I will start watching Sunday Night Baseball once he retires or is fired, hopefully sooner than later.

While there is truth in your statement that I bolded, all it does is further prove your own racism that has been blatant on this forum in the past. Morgan does clearly promote African-American players, and MLB itself is a strong proponent of that cause, as only 8% of today's major leaguers are African-American. But him doing so does not make him racist, as he is not saying anything negative about players of other races. You having a problem with his actions is the clear racism here. I suppose that you won't be watching any games on Sunday night for many years to come, because ESPN will not be breaking up the team of Miller and Morgan any time soon-- they win Emmys for their broadcasts and are among the best in the business.

I found that news story this morning to be bull. Ok, there's only 8% black in MLB....but what is the growing % of foreign players, white players are going down as well for the Japanese, Puerto Rican/Dominican/etc. There isn't a news story about the NHL, which is VERY VERY white/european white. There isn't a news story about NFL or NBA, which, are VERY black integrated.

other topic: CCPHILLY- after reading 2 lines of your baseball fantasy....I want to watch more tv and kill my imagination further. you should post a warning before posting that kinda thing

did anyone see that phillies/astros game last night? phillies pull out of a 3-0 shutout in the bottom of the ninth inning... first pitch to a guy who hasn't hit a home run since 1996 went right out of the park and the stadium's liberty bell token rang... i was like holy crap... then another 2 run homer... and geoff jenkins hauls ass stealing 2nd then running 2 more bases off of pedro feliz's line drive.

off topic... flyers won last night too... another great game... i was watching both... i love pip...
