I'm pretty sure that's the case, The Final Cut Blu-ray and the other discs included all have identical disc artwork as the 2007 set discs. The only new disc in the set is the 4K UHD Blu-ray.

update: Just checked amazon UK and the 2 disk set is in stock there. My order shows: Preparing for Dispatch

The 2-disk set is already released. You are thinking of the bigger set with the Unicorn on the cover. I ordered the 2-disk set and the tracking shows it still is in GB so it's going kind of slow for me.

Yeah, it's crazy expensive if you can find it, my local Best Buy had it full price and the new/used movies record shop I moonlight at got it in new at a couple bucks cheaper but not by much, we barely got it out of the box before someone bought it.

I got the 4K UHD and Blu-rays of The Final Cut, Disc 2 DVD and the Disc 3 Blu-ray with the three alternate cuts. Anything else was an error that was to be corrected by street date but evidently, some slipped through the line.
That's the combination on my Barnes and Noble set that just came in.

So does the Disc 3 Blu-ray still have lossy sound or did they upgrade it to lossless?

Neither the Final Cut Blu-ray (Disc 1) or the accidental inclusion of Disc 3 with the multiple cuts have been upgraded in any way - they're exactly the same discs as were included with the 2007 set. The only upgrades are in the 4K UHD version.

Thanks. Blade Runner just doesn't get any respect.

Lossy sound and DVDs in the year 2017. Wow.

I found a copy at my local Best Buy, even though it's listed as not available. Couldn't hurt to take a look if you're looking to get one now.

How can you say that, the 4K UHD disc with HDR AND Atmos on a 35 year old movie is gorgeous...
The discs you're complaining about are bonus discs from the 2007 release and just added as a bonus, I don't call that "no respect"
