I was actually surprised with how good this movie turned out to be. In fact, this year has been full of surprises with Power Rangers, Wonder Woman, and Split all being great movies. I have no interest in buying this movie due to it sequel baiting, but I would definitely watch it again as it was fun.

Aww Menois, don't forget to describe the deleted scenes. Some of us want to know!

    Mistake in the review:

Sadly, as entertaining as much of this is, the movie really feels as though it takes off, even during the final battle.
I liked the movie pretty well too. My complaints are the design of Rita and the Megazord, Goldar doesn't transform when it joins together with ****, and there should've been an action scene with the Rangers helping somebody before the big invasion. Still, the characters were mostly likable (especially Billy) and it's decently propulsive.

The movie is out today and Target has an exclusive Steelbook. Get it while you can (most stores seem to have more than ten copies).

Thanks for sharing eastx. At this point though when a new release is available in a 4K combo pack it's 4K combo or bust. Best Buy's set looked nice too, but not 4K.

    That's a good point - I hate when the 4K version doesn't get a Steelbook too.

I am really saddened that the Digital Copy that came with the disc was for HDX only. So far, none of my Ultra Blu-Ray discs have had UHD codes, they have all been for HDX. Pitty, my Samsung player won't do Dolby Vision, but my Visio M series television does, so the only way I get to see Dolby Vision is with Vudu or Netflix.

If it's not on THIS LIST or on Sony's ULTRA service or on Amazon listed with Dolby Vision, the code will be HDX.

But there has been some issue with getting the redemption to unlock UHD as well. I will test my next WB title via FlixsterVideo as some have suggested.

So E's review is confirming that:
Dolby Vision HDR is > HDR10

I'm somewhat saddened by that. I was hoping that the competing
formats would be a stalemate like Dolby TrueHD equals DTS-MA
    or Dolby Atmos equals DTS:X.

Now there's another detail to confuse when shopping for media.
Which version has Atmos? Which includes 3D? So the extended
cut doesn't have 3D, nor Atmos? Now there's another
differentiation, which version includes Dolby Vision HDR? Will
there now be UHD re-releases that bundle in Dolby Vision?
