Best Buy has this for pre-order for 49.99. I also have it on pre-order at Amazon, I'll have to cancel one, let the price wars commence!

There is no price war. Best Buy leads, Amazon follows. Only thing that would drop Amazon's price is another lower price elsewhere, such as Walmart.

Didn't even know this was a thing!

Canadians, go to Amazon.ca to get it. It doesn't seem to be up on Best Buy Canada yet, and more to the point it's actually going for a bit less than the price listed for the Blu-ray, for some reason. Discounted about $22 from its MRSP. It's going for $52.49 CAN, with the standard Blu-ray set going for $53.13.

So yeah, I grabbed it. Doesn't have a release date currently.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it probably doesn't include the BD version, though you'd think that would drive the price up, since there would be even fewer takers regardless. I don't have a UHD player myself, but I plan to grab one this spring, when LG releases theirs (assuming it isn't too pricy).

Amazon has dropped their price to $49.99.

    It's 49.96 at Walmart.com: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Planet-Ea...ra-HD/55472381
Must have dropped at Walmart and then Amazon responded.

Trying to decide which to cancel.

Amazon matched Walmart now. I still say it's a price war

$39.98 from BBC Shop, though shipping comes in at almost $8. That's still cheaper overall than Amazon or Walmart for the time being.

$39.99 now at Best Buy and Amazon. BB has free shipping, and I have prime, so.

I had faith it would be as amazing as the first was for BluRay/HD-DVD, but yes, the reviews have upheld this. I'm pretty excited. And the price dropping also is great.
