I saw some odd problems (picture breaking up, as if I was streaming or something which I am not) while playing a standard Blu-ray James Bond Spectre. Crappy movie anyway, but if I reversed back and played the same spot again it played fine. I guess I need to play more movies to see if the problem is just that one or if there are others.

According to the X800 player thread over on the AVS forum, there are quite a few people reporting similar issues with Blu-ray playback.

Well that just sucks. I may as well play my standard Blu-rays on the Oppo 105 then.

Leave it to Sony to foul up something so simple.

Did a firmware update during the weekend and now I've got SiriusXM on the X800. Sounds good too. Looks like $14.99 per month if I decide to subscribe.
