I kind of like the re-imagined artwork for Piranha.
Not a fan of the region B locked though and the pricing has much to be desired.

    Flight of the Navigator
    Purchase

    Street Date: February 27, 2017

    Studio: Second Sight Films

    Region: Free*

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray, Artwork by Marko Manev - @markomanev

Extras: Commentary by Director Randal Kleiser

    Technical Info: PCM 2.0, AR 1.78:1, 1 BD-25 Disc

Synopsis: Flight of the Navigator is the action-packed classic 80s adventure into another world. It's 1978 and 12-year-old. David Freeman is knocked unconscious while playing. He wakes up and discovers it's now 1986 and he's been missing for eight years. NASA believes he's been abducted by aliens and want to use him for their research. But with the guidance of a strange unseen entity he discovers a hidden spaceship and with the help of MAX the computer sets off on an incredible mission to get back to the past where he belongs.

Comments: Region-Coding -- Previous disc is region free confirmed, have no reason do doubt this will be the same disc. AFAIK, this was a pretty bad transfer, not much of an upgrade from the dvd version. Not sure why Disney never maintained this title, would love to see a proper release.

That does suck. It's a nice cover, and includes the 3D version to boot. Fat chance of getting this in North America. At least NA is getting the 3D version at all.

Filmarena has now updated their page to include the same cover art as HMV. Filmarena does ship outside their region, however their shipping rates are ridiculously expensive. Item price without VAT is 660 CZY, but shipping is 769CZK.

    Spirited Away

    Street Date: March 13, 2017

    Studio: StudioCanal

    Region: B (locked)

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray

    Extras: NA

    Technical Info: Japanese & English DTS-HD MA 5.1, AR 1.85:1, 1 BD-50 Disc

Synopsis: Master animator Hayao Miyazaki directs this fantasy adventure about Chihiro, a ten-year-old girl who is leaving behind everything she knows to move with her parents to a new home. Along the way, they stumble across a tunnel that leads to a spooky, deserted open-air restaurant where Chihiro's parents sit down and begin to eat. But she is uncomfortable with their new surroundings and wanders off to explore further. She meets a boy, Haku, who explains to her that the world they have entered is a holiday resort for spirits who have left behind their exhausting earthly duties. After discovering that her greedy parents have been turned into pigs, she learns the number one rule of the new world she is now part of: laziness is not tolerated, and only working hard can enable her to break the spell on her parents. With its fantastical critique of an adult world of capitalism and wasteful consumption, entwined with the simple tale of a girl finding herself and learning to get by on her own, the film has been dubbed a modern-day 'Alice in Wonderland', and won an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

    The Great Wall
    4K Ultra HD (Incl. 2D Blu-ray)
    Purchase

    Street Date: N/A

    Studio: Universal Pictures

    Region: N/A

    Zavvi Description: N/A

    Extras: N/A

Technical Info: Codec: HEVC / H.265
    Resolution: 4K (2160p)
    Original aspect ratio: 2.39:1
    1x BD-66, 1x BD-50

Synopsis: Starring global superstar Matt Damon and directed by Zhang Yimou (Hero, House of Flying Daggers). The Great Wall tells the story of an elite force making a valiant stand for humanity on the world's most iconic structure as European mercenaries searching for black powder become embroiled in the defense of the Great Wall of China against a horde of monstrous creatures.

Comments: UHDs are apparently not region locked as a rule, and as a Universal title, the 2D Blu-ray will likely be as well. The art appears to be final (no disclaimers to the contrary anyway). Release date is pending (has a placeholder 31st of December date).

Great Wall sold out pretty quickly. Had I known it was to be released I would have ordered it on my phone from work. I hope Best Buy gets this one as a 4K combo as well.

I got in on the deal in time myself.

I expect that they're staggering the sales, as usual. I fully expect it to go on sale again at some point in the future. It's not going to be released for months.
