I'll probably be passing on that for the time being. Never saw the original. Now, it might be good, it might not be, we'll see. As it is, after that rig I'm buying, I'll have to start saving up again and all.

I give 50:50 odds that I'll break down and pre-order it anyway XD
Current Computer Rig; 6850k (3.6GHz), MSI GTX 1080 Twin Frozr VI, Asus X99-A, 32GB 3200MHz Ram, 2x 500GB 850 EVOs SSDs (OS/Programs | High Priority Games), 1x6TB WD Black (Media), 1x4TB WD Black (Games). Bunch of externals.
Peripherals; Asus 23" 1080p 120hz Monitor, HTC Vive, Logitech G933 Wireless 7.1 Headphones, Corsair Sabre RGB, Logitech G510 Keyboard
    Region Free Player: Sony BDP-S5100

    I love the original.
I am willing to give the new one a fair shake. I of course preordered as there is plenty of time to cancel if I change my mind.

Saturday's Reveal: The Martian: Extended Edition
    http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/the-mar.../11323363.html

Standard cover art with Matt Damon's big head in the center. Looks a little pop-artish though.

Grabbed The Martian Extended. Too bad it wasn't UHD though. I also went ahead and grabbed Pete's Dragon at the same time because why the heck not ~_~

Sunday's reveal is for Top Gun
    http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/top-gun.../11326796.html

Only thing really making it any bit special is the slip case. Not worthy of a triple or quadruple dip IMO.

The standard cover for The Martian has Matt Damon facing camera. This is new art. I agree that it looks a little pop art-ish, but is probably the least offensive of that trend. I don't love it, but I don't hate it.

I don't hate it either. What exactly is the orangeish sphere behind him? Is it the studio's way of saying they have color graded this movie in their orange tint? Is it a cymbal, thus the sound will be tinny? Or did it start out as the red planet itself but got redrawn in the pop-art scale, orange tinge and all?

I think it's supposed to be the Martian landscape behind him, red/orange sky above, ground in the bottom half. I have no idea why it's been cut into a circle around his head.

Cover art for Alice Through The Looking Glass has been updated. Just link Jungle Book, once package is opened there is nothing to indicate what movie this is. As far as you know it could be the first movie!
