Default Go to first new post Blu-ray vs DVD sales week ended 4/6 Blu-ray down to 4% DVD 96%



only down 50% from last week! Market penetration doesn't mean decreasing numbers most of the time, what am I missing here?

Oh and look, the dead format is back from the dead

I think you should go to the Official Nielsen thread to read why the percent has halved, instead of creating a new thread.

whoa, hd dvd have 36%, for dead format, and have nothing to release, that amazing. That has to the first good news for hd dvd this year

I don't know if you'd call that good news. Some people would call that clearing stock at bargain bin prices.

Well still drawing it's last few breaths. Plus getting lots of visitors not willing to let it go without some final memories to treasure (not to mention bargains).
