Default Blu Ray sales % up up and away!!!!

Well it looks like the few doom and gloom, blu ray is just nitch' hold outs need some more smackdown proof that blu ray is here to stay. Blu % sale Vs. DVD are increasing faster then expected:

Title Release Date % BD
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 12/04/07 3.7
Simpsons Movie 12/18/07 2.8
Michael Clayton 02/19/08 5.5
30 Days of Night 02/26/08 8.9
No Country for Old Men 03/11/08 9.8
Hitman 03/11/08 12.6

In Japan, a similar trend can be seen. Analyst GfK Japan has released data that in February, Blu-ray maintained a 18.2% share of the home media market.

"The biggest title of last year, in terms of high-definition disc sales, was 'Transformers,' which derived a little more than 4% of its total unit sales from the Blu-ray Disc version," Adams said. "But in terms of revenue, the percentage "

Wow, Transformers on Blu-ray was the biggest title of last year, which derived a little more than 4%. Who knew.

Probly a mis-quote or he mis-spoke either way he was talking about Transformers on HD DVD. BTW you forgot to add the end of the quote yourself so I guess were all human in the end.
