How does Toshiba get 28% unit share while HDDVD marketshare is 26%?

Should HDDVD marketshare be at least 28%?

The OP messed up the thread title. It should read

65:28:9

Based on similar wierdness, It's highly likely the missing 1% comes from rounding on the part of TWICE.

Dude, haven't you heard that Warner switch back to HDDVD? It was on the news today. After disappointing sales for Blu-ray for the past 3 weeks, Warner decided to switch back to HDDVD.

It has only been a couple of weeks since the Warner Bros. announcement [of exclusive support for HD DVD],
most likely a typo.

you seem to be an HD DVD supporter, yet you are posting an article which says Toshiba's (and thus HD DVDs) share of the player market is only 28%

but..but..but.. Just wait until HD DVD players are $20.

Seriously, most people know that the amount of $ spent on an HD DVD player = $ spent on a brick.

I wonder, which one will be more happy with those numbers, Toshiba with 28 percent unit share and 14 percent dollar share or Samsung with 13 percent unit share and 23 percent dollar share.
