It's currently an Amazon lightning deal. Go to your Amazon gold box top find it.

Meh, I am quite happy with my PS3 + $100 Wal-Mart gift card that I got on Sunday. The best Blu-ray player performance-wise and the most future-proof.

The only - absolute only - reason to get a BD-P1400 would be if one requires analog audio outputs.

In any other scenario, the BD-P1500 is well worth the extra couple bucks. The 1400 is very slow with BD-J authored discs, the "stop after 5 minutes of pause" is mind boggingly stupid (forces BD-J movies to restart from the beginning) and the reliability record of this player is spotty at best.

Granted, I have one 1400 that's a lemon and one that's solid, and if you have a good unit its not a *bad* player. Its just that the 1500 is so much better.

And I haven't even addressed Wal-Mart's upcoming $100 giftcard deal, which makes the 1500 even more attractive.

Year plus old 1.0 players should be down to $200 on a regular basis.

Remember when it was $270 for 2 months last year with 5 free movies by mail and 1-3 free instantly at store? Good times.

Now, 6 months later this is a sale? LOL
