Default Batman Original movie MSRP $39.95????

I was a huge fan of the original series as a kid and got a huge laugh out of the original 1966 movie... But is fox smoking crack? $40 for the original batman movie? This is one movie I'm not buying until it hits the $10 mark.

Yeah, I sort of want I, Robot, but I refuse to buy any more Fox catalog titles if I can't buy if for arond $20. That means they've have to drop List price anouther $10.

This is standard Fox practice. If you are patient, you will eventually find it for $16 or less on a sale. The majority of my Fox and MGM titles (catalog) were picked up during BOGO sales.

I agree, these prices are too high for most of these catalogs.

But, well, I just don't buy em at that price and wait. This one, I probably won't be upgrading though.

Didn't Fox announce that the prices of catalogues would be $29.99? But, hey, milk Batman for all it's worth. It will sell.

(I'm buying the Collector's Edition. Hopefully, I won't get gipped.)

Don't buy the movie, and what message are you sending FOX?
The one they will get is the crowd does not care about classic titles.

Batman '66 is amusing, but the TV series and that movie did more to harm Batman as a cultural icon than help it. It's unfortunate that such a campy version of the character became so popular.

there's always some fucktard that will pay outrageous prices for stuff. case in point, nine inch nails "ghost i - iv" had a limited edition version for $300 where only 1000 of them were available. and they sold out.

you can get the drm-free download for $5... pre-order the CD, get a blu-ray version....

but $300...

i like trenty but not that much.

What's sad is that I'll buy it, being that I like all things Batman.

I loved the TV series. It was very entertaining.
