Anyone know if you could buy Crimson Tide, The Rock and Con Air for $14.99 each and then get the $10 per disc rebate thing from Disney?

If so that would mean that you would get all THREE movies for $4.99 each plus tax.

that's great, imagine paying $14.99 for a DVD, and right to the left are movies in theoretically significantly better audio/video quality for either the same or $5 more??!!

Christ, that makes those DVDs look like a ripoff!

I really liked that movie. Not super re-watchable for me...so not a purchase, but it was a really neat movie that was the antithesis of Armageddon...

Some people don't like the last 1/2 hour (I won't give anything away), but I thought it worked to jump start the movie a bit. The last scene is just awesome on the eyes though. I rented it first, and decided it was a keeper

the rock, con air and shoot em up look good... even though i jsut saw con-air and the rock on demand recently for free.... hmmm maybe just shoot em up... jsut bought a dozen more HD DVDs and i need my mastercard to cool off a bit.

Man, you Americans down there got it made with all these deals, although Sunshine is the only one which catches my attention.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Cars or Meet the Robinsons... yeah they are family films, but the PQ on those movies are absolutely amazing if you are looking for something to show off the high def. And, IMO, good movies as well.
