It comes to 31.00 plus with shipping and the UK. Blu-ray version with DD-THD audio comes to 28.21 shipped to the U.S. from sendit.com.

It's a Warner release there, so it's region free.

Better, cheaper, and longer-lasting.

Why would anyone buy the HD DVD?

Because my 3 HD DVD players work flawlessly and my one Blu-Ray player sucks.

Because you could support the American economy, maybe.

Good price compared to the Aus BD, - though I can't imagine wanting to ever watch this again. Bad script, mediocre CG. I didn't see it in 3D though, I imagine that would help somewhat.

I just pre-ordered the UK Blu-ray version. Thanks for the suggestion. All together it's about 30 cents more than a Fox release from Amazon.com.
