I bought in on 1/4 for $52. It's a pretty awesome set. The A/V is top notch even though the season was not. Every episode I watch is so gorgeous that I want to take a trip to Hawaii asap.

Lost on Blu-ray has phenomenal PQ. Lost and Apocalypto are my favourite titles to demo PQ on Blu-ray. At ~40 bones this is an easy buy. I thought season 3 was underrated.

They'll probably sell out at this price.

Own both. Strong preference for Blu-ray. 20GB more space = more lossless audio. Scratch protected discs are better.

Love the show. Even liked the 3rd season. But how anyone could actually BUY it is beyond me. I can't even watch re-runs on TV. The whole premise of the show (for me) was "what is going to happen next?". With the answers already in hand, I can't see myself sitting down to watch a whole season over again. Yikes. That would be too painful.

Question...

Is it easy to watch season 3 if you have not seen a single episode of any season??? Or should you start from the beginning?

Start from the beginning. You could possibly start off on the third season by watching one of those clip shows they show on ABC occasionally to catch up viewers on the plot... however, you would be missing a lot of enjoyment of the first two seasons.

Start from the beginning......NO question. Not to mention season 1 and 2 were much much better.

Hold off buying them though. The re-watchability for TV shows like this is MINIMAL, at best (for me anyways)...

I think it has enough, 'Huh?' factor to be worth a second or third viewing.

I may have to take another look at this. I'm a big Michelle Rodriguez fan.
