All I know is that I sent off for my phaser the day after Thanksgiving (and sent off for my 5 free HD-DVDs) and haven't seen either one of them yet.

Apparently there is a room with 90,000 of these phasers in it at Paramount HQ.

They sold over 100,000 of the Start Trek combo sets. It was a success.

Is there a link for that number? A $125 (street price) set sold more than the Matrix movies at half the price? I'd LOVE to see that sales report. There was a PREDICTION that it would move that many units, but it never even cracked the Top 10 as I recall.

PLEASE provide that link, hdinfud...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of...

Ross is also confident that the two companies' will sell at least 100,000 copies of their first HD DVD box set, Star Trek: Season One.

Judging by how poorly it showed in the Nielsens, I think they tacked an extra zero on the end of that figure.

It's ridiculously priced, I'm glad they didn't get the desired result.
