I have to say, some of the streaming videos with Silverlight are much nicer than would be expected. Check out www.smoothhd.com for some samples. Obviously the faster your internet, the better the video quality

Agreed. I would much rather pay for packaged media with proper 1080p and HD audio than stream a low quality version of the same movie, sapping my monthly internet quota.

when I used the silverlight player for the NCAA basketball tournament I was very impressed.
for watching online events live it seems like a great player. If it's going to be even better now, well I'm all for that. amazing how far video online has gone now. |
