A whole article that tells people who frequent this site absolutely nothing they don't already know. Nice.

    Good start.

But the next part should focus on scalers and HTPC hardware.

    Please, pretty please.

I always love these gift giving guides. Even if the information is a rehash, or not particularly relevant to me, they're always a fun read. Personally I'd love an expanded section on Subwoofers. I've already decided on (and purchased half of) my new speakers, however am completely up in the air on where to go for Subwoofers. They always seem to get lumped in with speaker packages. I'd love to see 3 picks in the $0-$500 Range, 3 Picks in the $501-$999 Range, and 3 Picks in the +$1000 Range.

This info is actually a decent jumping off point for me. We just got the HDTV about 18 months ago and while we said we would wait until we bought a house, I just can't wait any longer for surround sound.

Chevy Chase...not a good spokesman for the saving America theme.

Chevy Chase is just fine. What's your problem?

In your opinion. Privileged Hollywood elitists are generally not "just fine." To say nothing of how unfunny he generally is coupled with the gigantic ego.
