Toshiba Aims to Have 3D by March 2011

Toshiba Corp. told Dow Jones Newswires Tuesday that it will join the ranks of TV makers offering 3D-ready TVs by spring 2011.

Sony and Panasonic also have announced plans to release 3D TVs, with both Mitsubishi and Samsung already offering TVs featuring 3D capabilities.

Dow Jones reported that Toshiba is aiming for a 10% market share in HDTVs by March 2011, with plans to sell 15 million TVs.
