Way to keep up with the times toshiba, any plans for a recordable VCR in the near future?

anyone know how well these things work? I'll be honest, I'm heasitant to use anything that isn't tivo or MCPC

Gosh, fan boys can really ruin a thread.

Thanks for the post Attebery. Personally, I think it looks like a great product and has XDE... If I had more shows I love to watch, I'd buy.

LG BH200 Super Blu Blu-Ray HD DVD Combo Player (I'd Highly Recommend All of These, my roommate has a Sony Bravia 1080p LCD anda PS3 and my stuff blows his out of the water on picture quality!)

Standard analog cable, they have SD... I tend not to trust most DVR packages given my experiences with most.. My only truely good experiences have been with Tivo & MS MCPC so I really don't recommend anything else to people (usually tivo, it's easier than MCPC).

But I do have to admit I'm totally ignorant of toshiba's products. They make good TV's and HD DVD was great, but a DVR is a totally different beast with a different required skill set.
