Default Bang and Olufsen’s 103inch Plasma Comes At A Hefty Price

Boy, and sometimes I feel guilty about the price of *my* TV!

Remind me to pick one of these up for the kitchen... I need something small and cheap to watch TV on while having breakfast in the mornings...

On a curiosity note... I'd love to see what kind of picture rating this gets next to other high end but more normally priced screens. Wonder if it's like BOSE products that on blind tests get lower ratings than both the mid and bottom range competition?

B&O make some great products, but $100K for a TV is flat-out NUTS!

What's the advantage over a good projector system, which would be well under $20,000?

500 pounds? Good grief, don't let your kids near that thing. That thing needs to be bolted to the studs in the wall.

i think the math is wrong for the number of Phillips 21:9 TVs you could buy. That would mean you could buy a 21:9 TV for like $700, but if I'm wrong and that's the case, then where do I sign up?

Completely unnecessary but totally cool. It'll be interesting to see if any of the premium features it tauts every become more mainstream. I wouldn't mind having some of those PQ optimizers; obviously in the short term they add massively to a pricetag right there, but maybe some day these will be more standard and less expensive to include.

Where the hell does one put such a television in anything but a mansion...of course, if you can afford the price tag you probably already live in a mansion.

I'd rather buy two 52" plasmas for about 4% the cost and have a TV in a couple of rooms of my house.

To the person who buys this: You waste your money on this?! I dare you to save your money and give to charity. Also, get out of the bloody house!

LMAO!

That's the Panasonic 103" HDTV which they just reduced the price to $50,000.

ANOTHER $50K because it's got the B & O name on it and a fancy stand?

Nuts is right!

You will not need a dark home theater for the picture to be bright and clear.
But then again for the $80K difference, you can build a nice home theater.

I'm right behind you on that one. If the Philips 21:9 LCD is only $700, .... I'm there!
