Upscaling DVD player or Toshiba HD E1 ?
I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking for a good upscaling DVD player, and the Sony DVP - NS76H looks good for around £100. However, for another £120, I could get the E1 HD DVD player.
Do you guys think I should wait a bit longer before getting the HD DVD player and get the upscaler ? Or just get the E1 ? I heard the upscaling capabilities of the E1 are excellent. -

This situation is exactly how I ended up in the HiDef format war. I was in the market for a nice upscaling DVD player and read that the HD-A1 (first generation U.S. E1) was just as good as anything out there (including the high-end models). Therefore, I went with the A1 and I haven't regretted it.
With the free movies you get you pretty much offset the difference in price.

Thanks. I will probably get the HD DVD player then.
