Nope it does not. I can't tell you what version it accepts (probably 1.2 at the most) but I know that it does not accept all of 1.3s wonderfulness.

It will still display a lovely picture if you connect something to it that has HDMI 1.3 though. It just can't display all the special 1.3 stuff.

PS
If you want to know the best place to buy this TV send me a PM. If you are nice to me, I may tell you.

I don't know whether there are any displays that have HDMI 1.3 right now, although keep an eye out at CES in January for further info.

Are you sure? They did have plans to include it, but it didn't make it to the current top-end models in the UK (Sony X-Series) - I don't think they made it to the US models either!

I will use my TV only for gaming (PS3 and computer monitor) so do I need a built in HDTV tuner ?? If not I would probably get a Westinghouse LVM-37W1... Do you recommand it or I can get something better with the same features..

thanks

One of the biggest gatherings for consumer electronics in the world, where a lot of new tech gets announced. It is happening next year, January 8-11 in Las Vegas.

Another TV that I was looking at that can match the LC-37D90U spec for spec is the Mitsubishi LT-37131.

The things it has that the Sharp does not are a motorized swivel base controlled by the TV's remote (30 degrees left and right) and Picture in Picture.

Circuit City $1,979.00
Beach Audio $1,664.99

I bought my TV and will be in my apartment on either Friday (12-15) or Monday (12-18). If you have any really specific questions let me know!
