    Default Buy now or wait?

    It looks like Best Buy is no longer carrying RP televisions in their stores. I wouldn't have bought it there anyway, but how long before they stop making DLP altogether. I was planning on waiting another year or 2 before I bought one. The smallest I want to go is 65".

    Would you buy one now, or wait until the price drops on larger LCD or Plasma televisions? Or, will they keep making DLP's for online stores.

    Think of it this way...Prices are ALWAYS dropping. If you just keep waiting for them to drop forever you'll never buy anything.

    I'm not worried about the price of the DLP's, I'm more worried about the availability in a year or two. There's a big difference in the price of a 65" LCD and that of a DLP. If LCD is better at that size then I will wait.

    Costco, Frys, and my local stores appear to still stock and sell lots of these large RP sets. But, I wouldn't be surprised to see these gone in 2 years, completely.
