Still in the market for a 1080p projector - and was wondering if anyone has this on a table top or Shelf and what your distance is compared to the screen

I have this projector. It's on a shelf about 12 feet away from a 100" screen in a light controlled room.

I have this as well on a shelf that is about 16 feet from the screen. I have a light controlled room but I have the bulb set to "econo" mode and it is still plenty bright. Connected to a Onkyo 606 and a Onkyo 805 (for HD DVD) and a PS3 (For BD)..I am in love with this projector. For the money and what you get this was a no brainer for me
