Default Reprogramming specific buttons on Verizon Fios remote

On my Comcast remote I was able to reprogram any button to any function on any device I wanted using advanced remote codes, is this possible on a Fios remote? I'd like to be able to use it to switch receiver inputs.

Fios is great so far. I want a Harmony remote, but I really would like to wait until they come out with a RF version of the Harmony One,since my A/V components are in a closet. In the meantime I've been using Viera Link/EZ Sync to (mostly) control the receiver through the tv, and I've ordered a cheap rf solution for the Fios remote (who knows how it will work). I suppose if it works well I could just use the remote control extender with a Harmony One, but it would be really nice if they made an official one. Idon't much care for the button layout on the 890.

I hear you on the 890, honestly I don't like that attempt at an ergonomic remote design much either. I seriously much prefer the styling of my 550 to the 890. Hopefully it won't be too long before logitech realizes what giving their most stylish remote RF capabilities will do for their sales.
