Default Denon AVR-2309/AVR-889 w/PS3

I'm considering a new Denon receiver, the AVR-889, and noticed that it does include the feature "Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital+". I have a PS3 as my blu-ray player and was wondering if anyone new the supported audio formats it produces.

Also, if teh PS3 supports Dolby TrueHD and it is not built into the Denon receiver, does this mean I sould look for a different receiver?

Thanks

The PS3 decodes the HD audio formats and sends them LPCM. So you only need a receiver that can do LPCM. Other players may send them bitstream then you would need a receiver that decodes them. There are lower/cheaper Denon models that would work with PS3.
