Realized never posted my setup before. We shouldn't let this great thread be forgotten.

Sorry about the flash -- even with lights on, this was best way to take pics.
This is it for regular TV watching.

Here's the screen down -- lights off, room completely dark but flash still on:

    Sony PS3 Slim
    Marantz SR6006 7.2
    Bowers & Wilkins speakers
    Hsu VTF-15H sub (left) & Velodyne Impact-12 w/ low-pass filter at 50Hz for a stronger mid-bass

we have very little reason to be interested in them.

What? Almost a year without posts! It's a real shame that projectors don't generate more discussion here.

Anyhow, it's again time for another Home Theater Projector report:

And since it's still so quiet here I post couple of links for reviews of low cost projectors, if they lure here someone who thinks that projection is too expensive.

Just pulled the trigger on the Epson EH-TW6100/3020. Looking to do a 100 inch screen. Will post pics once I have it picked up.

Been watching movies for the last two weeks with my newly acquired Epson 3020/EH-TW6100, just projecting on my plain white wall. I will get a screen once I find something that suits our needs (renting makes it hard to mount anything on a wall). The images come out quite well, although I'd imagine black levels will look nicer on a proper screen :

All in all I'm very happy with the projector, I haven't calibrated it yet but even out of the box the colors look decent and the 3D is a lot better than some of the 3D TVs my friends have.
