should i keep my new onkyo 805
if I have a samsung bd-p1400 that decodes and transmits via multichannel 5.1 to my real old onkyo (working fine) what does the 805 offer to justify the 800 bucks (20% off at 6th ave this week) if I am still getting the HD audio with my old receiver? Newcomer not sure if accurate.

I don't know all the particulars, but the decision is yours to make.
IMO, the Onkyo will do better, cleaner decoding then any stand alone ever will unless they go into higher ended decoders. -
