Very nice use of space. I like how you hide the TV behind the drop down screen. That's pretty sweet.

That's a great setup Chip! Good stuff there. Need to get you some wire management stuff to clean up the back of the rack for sure. I'm not really one to talk of course. I really like that you are using a trunk as your center channel stand. Not sure it gives you the best angle on the speaker, but trunks like that are awesome.

    Really, a great setup there!

How do you like the theater chairs? I'm thinking about getting this in my rec room area, but I need to do some research on them first...

I know I need to be better with my wire management, but I seem to keep changing shit and moving my equipment. Oh well. Anyway the chairs I got were from costco 7 years and 5 years ago respectively. The red ones were actually free. Long story short, I cancelled my order and they kept re-apearing on my bank statement even though they were cancelled and one day I called up costco and told them I was going to file a complaint with the BBB if they didn't re imburse my bank statement and they did and two weeks later a big van comes to my house and knocks on the door and they said they have a delivery. Oh well. I guess it is good karma. LOL.

They are very comfortable. I assume the ones you are looking at are powered as well? The only thing is the black ones are really loud when they recline now. The red ones are so firm I bet they last at least another decade. Even though I weigh about 245 they are solid and have shown no signs of breakdown in the cushion or springs.

As far as the trunk, it was the only thing I could think of and it has been there for 4 years now. LOL. I actually have a stand I bought from IKEA that matches my blu-ray steelbook stands and it will go there shortly. It is about 8 inches taller than the trunk so it would be almost perfect. One thing I need to get over the comming years is a bigger center channel. I wish I could get a custom made Martin Logan Monolith turned into a center channel to match my mains. Have the panel off the monlith and one base driver on each side.

Happy to see some new photos in this thread. This was my favorite thread on the site a few years ago. I don't have a dedicated theater space yet, just my main family room as of right now, but I've upgraded a fair amount of things since last I posted. Once I get my new tv later this year I'll have to update my photos as well.

EXTRA NICE!!! I love Klipsch! Have you thought about putting that beautiful sub behind the couch? That's a perfect spot in the corner... Just for the clutter aspect.
