I just bought the vsx 92txh also and I must say wow!!!! This thing kicks me in the face with sound. I have mine hooked up with the hdmi and I find the sound separation is awsome. I just played the x-men 3 and wow. Now I can't wait to get a player that unlocks the dts-hd. If x-men sounded this good with a core 1.5mbs track imagine the lossless audio. Can't wait.
I would like to know all of you other guys who have the 92 or 94 what are you using for audio. Some people say that they use the multi ch in and it sound better than hdmi some say just like me hdmi and that sound better. -

I am using HDMI......... it sounds amazing after a few tweaks to the auto calib.
Really hoping the ps3 gets a firmware update soon to pass dts master audio and other bitrate formats .I like the ps3 as a player would hate to have to replace it. Btw if you are using a ps3 for BD make sure you change the settings on the PS3 to pcm for hdmi audio out if you havent done so already.Blu-ray movies=85

Actually If you have the linear pcm switched on the ps3 you can still hear the lossless audio from dts-hd and true hd. the ps3 will sent it as a pcm source and and the pcm will light up on the display. When the ps3 does get the dtshd unlocked then it will send it to the reciever as a dts hd master and then it should light up on the reciever not as pcm anymore but as the correct dts hd. But try it if you have not already done so. Trust me you will hear the difference. What I tried it with was X-men 3 and wow!!

to change my statement I think I made a mistake. Thism mourning I tampered with the ps3 more and the 1.5mps does not change weather in pcm or bitstream. but for some reason some scenes sounds allitle louder but some times they don't. Only the dolby truhd will be sent to the reciever as a pcm and heard. Although I'm not sure if we are getting hte full track. When I put on TMNT in truehd the mps goes up and down between 1.5mps and 2.5 and2.8mps. Unlike the pcm is at a steady 4.6 or 6.9 mps.
