    Looks like a 2070 or 3070 would fit my appeal. The difference between the two would need research obviously. And of course this being 2017 it's like a stupid question but I have to assume it has 9 amplifiers inside the unit.

    Both will have 9-amps; if they follow the previous few years, the 2070 will be 9-amps + 9-channels of processsing, while the 3070 allows for 11-channels of processing (requiring an external amp).

    If that's the only real difference between the 2 models I would likely opt for the lower cost unit. I don't think I really have the room for 11 channels.

    The big question, imo, is which of the models include multi-channel pre-outs?
