Hello,

I'm the developer of this app, and I'd like to clear up any misinterpretation in your announcement of its release.

SpeakerAngle does NOT "find the exact right angles for your speakers," because that is something that is beyond the capability of any piece of software, given the many variables involved. These variables include the distance from the speakers to the listener; the distance from the speakers to the wall behind them; the size, shape and acoustic characteristics of the room; and the frequency response and dispersion characteristics of the speakers themselves.

What SpeakerAngle DOES do is allow you to accurately measure the angle of a speaker as you are adjusting it to the most pleasing position, and to then precisely match that angle in the other one in the pair (i.e. left / right in stereo mode, or front left / front right, rear left / rear right, and center left / center right [if used] in surround mode.

I hope this clears up any misconception. I'm convinced that SpeakerAngle is a valuable tool for anyone interested in great audio, and I hope you'll all go check it out!

Thanks Howard. Although he didn't explain the purpose of the app as you did, I interpreted it as you described. I'll check it out.
