everything outclasses Bose.
Where I work we had in the same showroom the Bose v25 system and a JBL nightlife kit we sell for almost half of what the bose costs. The bose rep made us take out the JBL kit because it made his own kit sound like ass.

I love Klipsch - but the older, larger speakers (CF-3's, CF-4's, and KV-4 center - or the slightly smaller KG 5.5's and a KV-4 or a KLF-C7 center). I don't trust these newer, smaller ones. And at that price? For a starter system, I say go to eBay. When putting together a system for friends, I either try to find four Boston Micro130x bookshelf speakers and a matching Boston MicroCenter - or find four Klipsch RSX-5 satellites and a matching Klipsch RCX-4 center.

Compare the specs on these older Klipsch RSX speakers to this newer Klipsch $599 home-theater-in-a-box solution. Yikes. And I just bought a set off of eBay a week ago (Klipsch RSX-5's and a center) for $270 - including shipping. Now usually it would be $400 or $500 - so $270 was a great deal - but for $599, I think you should use eBay for a few weeks to buy a total of four Klipsch RSX-5's and an RCX-4 for about $400 to $450, and then pick a random $150 sub off of Amazon... -

Audiovox owns Klipsch now and I have no idea which products are nothing more than junk branded with the Klipsch name and which products are comparable to speakers Klipsch might have made a few years ago but I believe there is a mix today, so buyer beware. Klipsch owned Mirage, Jamo, Athena, and Energy brands, all good speakers historically, and I have no idea what Audiovox has done with any of those brands since acquiring Klipsch in 2011. A new budget line of Klipsch surround speakers is exactly the type of product I would expect is nothing more than a cheap low quality product manufactured by some unknown company with a factory who knows where. There is exactly zero chance those speakers were made in a factory Klipsch owns and operates. Still the speakers might be a good value and worth consideration but do some research to find that out.
As far as speakers made here in Arkansas at their Hope facility, if that still happens, I would expect high quality, relatively expensive products. -
