    Josh's review:

    Q:
What is lost in the video chain that this product manages too reproduce?
...they are the same damn movies...

Nothing is currently "lost" in the signal, necessarily. This device improves playback, akin to upgrading to a better TV.

Well, would not 'upgrading to a better display' show details that were "lost" on a lesser model?
(you don't have too answer that/just that's where I'm coming from)

In your review you state: "the Darblet will “embed real depth cues in digital images, causing enhanced perception of object shape and ultra clarity.” That’s a fancy way of saying that it adjusts the contrast, luminance and chrominance in a video signal to make the image appear sharper and more detailed".
Too me that means "details & sharpness" that would be lost on another display (in this case, one w/o the Darblet).
Re-reading your review (esp. "to make the image appear sharper and more detailed"), maybe instead of lost I should have just pointed out this device is adding information; not found in the original siginal.
Or, are you stating its merely separating info, too add depth & sharpness?
    Thanks.

I think that's a decent way of putting it. At a moderate setting, the Darblet doesn't "add" anything to the picture. It just makes what's there clearer. When you flip it on and off, the image seems to pop into focus with the Darblet engaged.
