Default What Home Theater Gear Did You Just Buy?

We have threads similar to this in both the blu, water cooler, and game room forums; I thought it would be exciting to see what home theater gear people are picking up.

I'll kick it off. Within the last two weeks:
-Lumber and screws for a riser I built for my theater seating

-6 Lane 175 Home theater chairs

    -Harmony 900 Universal Remote

-I also purchased: (1) a wireless keyboard and mouse for use with my pc; (2) a 25 foot hdmi cable to connect my pc to my projector and sound system -- all so I can use my PC in the theater
Currently Playing: Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword
    Back Burner: LBP2, LA Noire
    Just finished: Anno 2070 (PC)
Home Theater: Panasonic PT-ae4000u, 110" Carada Brilliant White Screen, PS3
Gaming PC: I5 2500k, GTX 670, 8GB Gskill 1600 RAM, 64 GB Patriot SSD, Samsung BD Drive

Oh well since we can go back 2 weeks

Fell in love with this guy the first night I used it......I had no idea what I had been missing out on all these years.

Also picked up this since my old reciever was badly outnumbered on HDMI ports.

Meant to ask, did you cut the wood yourself or buy it pre-cut?

Also, does that Harmony remote support XBMC?

    Cheers, great thread man.

I got it from lowes locally and they have a saw setup in the back of the lumber section - so i just had the guy cut all the boards down to size

I'm rather unfamiliar with XBMC but I just did a quick google and yep!

Nice dave, we're remote and receiver twins even though we have different model numbers. I may have to ask for remote pointers

HT-wise, am pretty much set. My last upgrade was over a year ago for a sweet Pioneer SC35 receiver and don't see myself upgrading my other components (Kuro 5020, 5.2 Acoustech speakers and subs) any time soon. Might get a new BD player, but not sure, happy with PS3 and standalone Pioneer player for now.

    Some pics of the receiver:

    400. There's some negative reviews on them, but it's mostly about the shuffle play and some early software bugs. So far I have 73 disc in it and 44 of them BLU's. The only disc with an issue is Final Destination on DVD.

Sounds good to me! Now you have to make a book with the disc and number in each sleeve so people can look through it and pick a movie

The remote is an absolute dodle....I just tell their web portal thingy everything in my system and it configures everything on the remote for me. I havent had a chance to try anything too complex yet but so far I havent had to change a thing.
