Netgear's NeoTV Pro is the First Streamer to Offer Wireless Streaming From Laptops
The new streaming device from Netgear does something the others don't, courtesy of Intel WiDi.

Maybe I'm missing something but doesn't any DLNA streaming device have the ability to stream from laptops? My PS3 and WDTV Live seem to have no problem with it.
RIP Kosty you are missed. -

MrAngles yes and no. The difference with widi is it completely mirrors what is on your laptop screen. Basically you see all content that you can see on your laptop. (My widi equipped laptop only has dvd so not sure if you display copy protected blurays) The quality is much higher on video from my experience with with my netgear push2tvHd. At $69 it undercuts the price on their own product (That I paid $100 for) that does just widi streaming.

yeah i was confused at 1st, but the idea does seem cool. basically it hooks up your laptop to your tv without wires. youll be able to surf the internet (with whatever browser yo want) and see all your a files easily. with my sony media player i can only see video, music, & pictures thru the windows media server from my pc..... but if it does just that, and nothing else, then ehh. this needs to be implemented in a player that has the works, usb input, tons of apps etc..
