    So it wont bitstream, but will it properly decode etc? Or will I get lossy???

    You would have to have the player do the decoding then you can pass the audio as PCM. Still lossless, but Windows will mess around with it (changing 24-bit to 16-bit, etc etc). Not ideal.

    Sorry for the lack of updates!! Nothing much new though. Screen is mounted, projector is mounted, components are still not in fireplace cut-out though. Enjoyment-wise though, its basically complete outside of really calibrating the projector properly. Its pretty damn nice straight out of the box though, especially with the Black Widow paint mixture:

    Although the fountain in the center is still awaiting the solar powered pump to be delivered.

    Thanks! The next step is hiding the two cables (HDMI and power), and then getting the components into the fireplace insert.
