    MKVs won't be able to be streamed, but you can play them directly from a USB drive.

    Plex for Roku streams only video as of now, but works really well in that regard.

    Tested some MKVs over USB last night, played really well. Its a bit slow on navigating folders and starting up videos, but once its going its rock solid. Not a bad little upgrade at all.
