Sony Launches a Set Top Box Capable of 3D Streaming
It's not a Google TV device, but a player using Sony's own interface.

Looks like a slick device, simple and understated physically. I question, however, with the media player market becoming saturated with Roku-wannabes, how does the SMP-N200 Streaming Player stand out from the crowd? It looks promising on paper, but I think the true test will be in its real-world performance and available content once in the wild.
The Sony Tablet S will also be released, due this month. While there's some redundancy between the two products, I'd like to see them paired and working together (think eco-system) to create a unified user experience. If Sony envisions something similar, it'd be great to see a bundled promo vs. buying system components separately (and at more expense). Will wait and see what the holiday brings.
