Default Pansonic's VT25 Picks up a Pair of Awards

The plasma was honored for being the best in 3D and performance.

Of course, GO PANASONIC! And GO PLASMA!

I feel awful for people wasting their money on LED's, these manufacturers are really taking people for a ride.
    What I Watch On:
    50" 1080p Pioneer Elite
    Yamaha RX-V1800 7.1 Receiver
    Klipsch Reference 82 Towers
    Klipsch Reference Center Channel
    Klipsch Reference Surrounds
    Klipsch Reference 10" Subwoofer
    Sony Playstation 3 60GB

    LCD is our misfortune.

Sadly this TV and it seems every other 3D TV is useless to me. I have yet to be able to see a clear/sharp 3D effect using active shutter glasses. No matter what I've tried in various stores all I see are double images. No problem at the theatre by the way where I can see the 3D effect perfectly using the passive glasses. Is there anyone else out there who has experienced this same problem? I do wear glasses by the way (continuous bifocals) if that's any clue.

Dont feel to bad. I'm loving my Sony 55'' LED tv just fine. Panasonic is a great brand and they have a real winner with the VT25 and other similar plasmas. A friend of mine has the 58'' Panny 3D and it is a wonderful set. I, personally, like the pq of an led over a plasma..and I was considering a plasma a couple of times. Not saying plasmas are better and I'm not say led's are better. All depends on the individual tastes. Each have their pros and each have their cons. All that matters, in the long run, is what your happy with....nothing else. K, I am coming off the soap box now, lol.
    My mancave:

    Computer - Mac 27" i5 1 terabyte hdd (1 terabyte back up hdd), MacBook Pro 17" i5 750GB

    Portable Devices - iPad (4th gen A6 64GB), iPod Touch (5th gen A5 32GB)

This doesn't do 24fps on 3D. Do any TVs?

I'd love to get a plasma, unfortunately, I don't have complete control over the light in the room and don't always want to watch everything in total darkness so I will most likely end up going with LED. I would rather have plasma though

Er what? I've never had to watch my TV in total darkness and I've had it as my normal set for 5 years. Plasma is not back projection.
