Hmmm... No HDMI connection for DSD pure direct bitstream, and no Multichannel SACD either! Tough sell!

Tough sell?!?!? This is laughable. I am almost embarrassed to own Pioneer Elite products when they release something like this. If I can't connect via HDMI, or even multichannel analog, what is the point?

With new players like the Denon 1611 on the horizon, I will consider switching to a complete Denon system. We want to consolidate devices these days, unless something comes along and really wows. These don't.

    Stainless steel, my friend.

Who needs little things like HDMI & multi-channel sound reproduction, when you can ....err... prevent your drive from the oh-so-likely-possibility of ...rusting. (?)

What on earth are Pioneer thinking?

I'm sure the SACD Stereo will sound ace but there appears to literally be no way to enjoy SACD Multichannel too. If I were to re-buy into SACD (after selling my DVD/SACD Player sometime ago) I'd get it combined with a BD Player.
