A HD box is $10 extra a month. From a consumers point of view, all they have to pay is $10 a month for HD movies and not a $400 or more for HD movies. The rental fee is a wash for VOD or BB.

Don't even try to compare the costs of digital cable with a DVD player. That doesn't make any sense and one doesn't replace the other. Do you really think people are going to buy a high definition DVD player and cancel their cable because of it?

so you're talking about the people who already have the service and want to pay an extra $10 a month for HD movies? that sounds like a huge amount of people.
