Never had to boil any of my discs. They have all played fine.

But if it came down to it I'd rather boil my discs to work properly than to have them go bad & not be able to watch them.

Of course you know my "connect the dots game" was a joke. After all the posting Blu-ray fans did about the "Children of Men" problem with some people & their players.

My Prestige disc plays and look fine too and so are probably 99.9% of the Blu-ray discs out there. The boiling party was a joke too ...two can play that game.

Hello? I am repeating the old argument that content will win out in the end ...especially exclusive day and date releases ...is this such an outlandish argument or is it too subtle for you to understand? It was also meant to be light hearted humor (people click and expect the worse only to see a cute blue rat) ...I guess that was too subtle too. You are really stretching when you compare me to VC-1. I am in total agreement with you. My only pause for concern is that Disney,and other studios, will wait months after the dvd release to finally release it on blu-ray. POTC, CARS, BLOOD DIAMOND are examples of this although blu-ray and dvd releases on the same day and date of each other are starting to become more common. I laughed my ass off when that blu rat started to display itself on my computer monitor after reading your thread post about the demise of hd dvd!!! Thanks for the laugh.
