titles on the list are Summer Blockbusters...no? Quote:

![]() I think some of you guys are more interested in collecting "demo" material to show off your systems than appreciating the fine art of film making. That's OK. I'm sure it's a stage most early adopters go through.

4 or 5 of those movies were actually released in May, but still coincides with the busy "summer" season when school is out. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120338/releaseinfo Titanic doesn't. Quote:

Again, some people don't think the movie is crappy. You do and that's fine. But other do not. I don't think it's crappy. It's fine and has tremendous replay value with kids around. Hey, for a lot of us, our home theatre is our hobby, something we pride ourselves on developing and having. Much like people rebuilding cars or working on refurbishing things, home theaters are important to a lot of us. We like to show off what we have time to time and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not an early adopter thing. It's a hobbyist thing. When I get a new component in my system I definitely show it off to friends and family.

This is too much to argue over that little thing though. Silverado, I don't want you to think I'm ragging on you...I just didn't click at all with what you're trying to say, and I don't think it's the best way to convey what you mean. But no offense intended, carry on and I don't plan on antagonizing you over that point anymore than this. Sorry if you took that the wrong way. Taffy...if I offended you...oh who am I kidding, I don't care. |

Rule #7 - (7) Avoid excessive uses of CAPS, colored Text and Huge Font Sizes, do not post in l337 (i you don't know what it is... don't worry about it) and Do Not Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word. These just serve to make people think you are craving attention. Well written prose in standard text is far more persuasive and will get your point across more clearly.

![]() Besides, if memory serves, Titanic was supposed to be released as a Summer Blockbuster but wasn't finished yet to Mr Camaron's satisfaction. Glad he waited. ![]() Quote:

2) My shit analogy actually was quite appropriate and is allegorical to calling a winter release a summer blockbuster. Unless, you care to expand why my analogy sucked big time. I assume you have no idea what you're talking about and just trying to save some face from being smacked down...yet again...
