"Lost" NOT coming to bluray!!
http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...on_Blu-ray/671
This is a bit ironic, as every thread with Heroes HDDVD talk would have shows like "Lost" thrown into the fire by bluray boys.
No "Lost" for you!! -

This is the reason why I keep on saying...Do not even mention on threads as a sign of good things to come any single title that is not official ( even if all the informers and Waldo together are swearing that is coming)

Okay, we won't mention Lost if you don't mention Battlestar Galactica.

Please ...December is a long time away and just because Disney currently has no plans for a Blu-ray version does not mean it won't happen. Disney is correcting a erroneous report from Hollywood Reporter. Lost is coming to Blu-ray eventually but its not official yet. Disney got six months to add a Blu-ray release of Lost with the SD DVD version. Thats all.
You HD DVD supporters act like its big news. The big news is Disney is still Blu-ray exclusive for the foreseeable future. Deal with that.

This sucks. That's probably the only TV show I'd want to actually purchase and re-watch. Hopefully it's forthcoming. I don't get why it's such a big deal. They've got the damn eps sitting around in HD anyway. Just put them on a disc and sell them to me!

I think I'm going to turn over a new leaf: avoid quoting people, since they seem to get defensive.
Here I go: This is very disappointing for BD people. Sure, many will spin it - as usual - by saying "It will come out eventually" and they'll be right - but that is not the point.
The point is that two of BD's biggest supporters are MIA right now - still. And Disney felt the need to reiterate they are still BD exclusive. They obviously understand that public perception is that they may be hedging their bets, so they toss out weak-ass reassurances . . . but another round of delayed titles cannot make the BDA happy.
WTF is with this war? HD DVD had the early start, built a big lead - then fell asleep for three months. BD catches up, has the PS3 - but two of its studios aren't releasing shit.
Does anyone actually want to win, or at least be successful at, this format war?!?
Now watching: Inception, duh.
Now playing: Medal of Honor on PSN; Black Ops on XBOX Live. -

Lost was great on HD TV, but it kinda ran outta gas in early season 2.
I love HDTV by the way, and my PVR. I love my PVR way more than I love HD DVD.Trust everyone but cut the cards.
I own an HD-A20 and 8 HD titles. Planet Earth is the best, IMHO, and it would be the best even if I had BD.
I have two kids that enjoy watching the Flintstones on whatever format I have. My wife wonders why the hell I care about hidef in the first place.
I want: LoTR, Jurassic Park, Star Wars III and IV, Saving Private Ryan. The rest, I'll rent...might buy Jaws. -

No, of course - when BD studios delay releases, or just flat-out don't release at all, it's really no big deal.
Mods, close the thread please! Balian (Mr. Objective) has declared this no big news.
People - you could help us all here if you consulted with Balian BEFORE you posted. That would save us the time of reading these very non-newsworthy threads. Thanks!Last edited by rmslives; 05-31-2007 at 06:26 PM.
