Default HD-A2 (Top 10) Amazon Sales Rank Record

This is a record I'm sure for any stand-alone player which is grouped in with all other electronics including Ipods, Memory Cards, Cameras.

With the new low price of $237.88

Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD Player has jumped to #10 in Electronics.

Also the most popular of all DVD players on Amazon including $50 regular DVD players.

They sold out of their current stock already but they didn't cut off orders.

(Sorry I thought I put this in the Sales Rank forum)

Best Buy does not price match online prices. Sorry. That Amazon price is fantastic!

Thats great news and might impressive IMO. Even at 237 bucks its not super super cheap and to break into the top 10 at this time of year with fathers day and everything is again just downright impressive and great news for HD DVD. Unlike with PS3 sales each one of those players will become a utilized HD movie player. HD DVD is on a big time roll right now!

I just checked it and it is now #6.

And they are still shipping out of another supplier. Amazon has sold out though.

Wow!!! that's an amazing deal. If you buy The Matrix, for under $300.00 you get a HD DVD player, The Matrix + 7 movies.

They had 150 in stock yesterday according to eproductwars.com so that thing is selling like hotcakes.

That's great news, I wonder what would happen if the PS3 had a major problem with Blu-ray in the future, such as all the systems drives wearing out. Something similar to the PS2. Expensive.

#3 in Electronics right now. I hope they get enough in to keep up with demand.

Holy smokes, that is a fantastic price. I can't believe they've sold out, amazing.

Good news for BD fans though, PS3 is in stock and ready to ship for only $599.99

The sign that you need is time.
It will happen...we just don't know when.
Studio support is the only advantage Blu ray has left. HD DVD is aiming for this support.

Amazon is also offering 2 free movies if you buy one of the Matrix sets with the player. Plus the 5 free by rebate.
