If your going to blame for anything blame them for things they did, like making our copy of Blade Runner 5 disks instead of 2 BD 50s using seamless branching.

Considering that two of the discs in that set are plain DVDs, it seems reasonable to say at best, without HD DVD, you might've gotten a 4 disc set. There were some obvious practical reasons that had nothing to do with HD DVD for why it's such a large set...you'd have to go and blame DVD too.

Granted, when someone offers me a 5 disc set packed to the brim with content for one of my favorite films ever supported by a fantastic remaster at a very reasonable price...personally, I'm not going to waste my time blaming anyone.

I envy you...my workouts are limited due to some bleeping physical debility (nerve damage in the elbows). It's a good thing I have a PC and HT.

I have heard over and over about blu looking better and it is totally false. I have both formats and have yet to see anything as good as the Matrix, Hot Fuzz or Zodiac and not a single soundtrack on par with Bourne Ultimatum. It is absolute bullshit. How many HD DVD versions of The Bucket List or One Flew Over were there? The fact that there can be more data for audio is a fair argument but this argument about how HD DVD looks worse is shit.

I watch a rented Blockbuster version of this movie last night - wow - so signifcantly better than my HD DVD. It was quite amazing. I did wish it had full DTS sound - wish Warner would do that.

    Signicantly better?
And how is that, since they both use the same video encode?

    Other than fanboi rubbish.

The PIP on Batman Begins looks a hell of a lot better on the Blu-ray. The windows are much larger and higher resolution.

Just ONE MORE reason Blu-ray spanks HD DVD.

I'll take it you were having a laugh...no way you can believe any of what you just spouted, is there? TrueHD is as sonically full as DTS(-MA) (lossless codecs, the both of them) and then there's the aforementioned inconvenient fact that the video encodes are identical. I have my doubts that you even owned the HD DVD.
